Many totems have been done by our pupils of grades 1 and 2.
Did you know that totems were made by Indians with the cedar tree?
Did you know that they carved animal faces such as an eagle, the symbol of the sky, the beaver, the symbol of the patiente and wisdom, the bear, the symbol of the earth?
Did you know that a totem was like a book? it told stories about indians, families etc.
Many other thins have been learnt about totems in Grades 1 and 2.
